Join our Caring Cities Training (Lunch & Learn Edition)

Interested in learning ways to plan and design cities that center care in real and practical ways?

Then this training (Lunch & Learn edition) is exactly what you’re looking for. Come to our Caring Cities Field School at Cre:8 where you will dive deep into what centering care and putting people first, from planning to policy, looks like and how it helps ensure our city is truly for all.

Our Caring Cities training is grounded in lived experience and community voices, and will share what we have heard from residents across Ottawa about how we can build systems of care. Together, we will explore how these insights can be translated into planning, policy, and action.

What to expect that day:

  • Shared learning and connection
  • Practical tools you can bring to your work
  • Introduction to Caring City principles and neighbourhood-based approaches to planning
  • How to apply participatory methods as an approach to research
  • How to make Ottawa more inclusive, equitable and caring
