Andrew Haydon Hall, City Hall
Wednesday, 28 March, 2018 - 10:00 to 12:30
Event Details:

On March 28th, Ottawa City Council will vote on a motion to advance gender equality on Council and in city decision making. The diversity of women have insights to bring to good city decision making that are less heard when we are a minority on decision making bodies.

If you want to see gender equality advance at City Hall, write or call your Councillor and the Mayor to ask them to vote in favour of a Council Representative Special Liaison for Women’s Issues and a Women’s Bureau to provide a gender lens on our policies and practices in the 2019 Governance report.

Join us at City Council on Wednesday, March 28th. The meeting begins at 10 AM in the Andrew Haydon Hall, City Hall, 110 Laurier Avenue West. If you have a CAWI peach scarf, please wear it in support. See you there!
