Women, Our City and today’s Economy
A workshop to help us understand what is happening

Eyes on the budgetA workshop to help us understand what is happening

In a 2 ½ hour workshop, we will create a multi-coloured mural that will help us to see what is really happening. Come bring your ideas.

The Occupy movement has spoken out about inequality in our world. Why does 1% of the world’s population have so much wealth and power?

Will the proposed federal and provincial budgets increase equality?

What can we do to ensure quality of life in our City for everyone?

Refreshments will be served.
Reimbursing Expenses: We have limited funds for those of us who need childcare, bus tickets or transportation reimbursed in order to participate. Help us keep parking costs low, by taking the bus or trying to find a parking spot that is free, if possible.
