Supporting a Diversity of Women to be Elected to City Council

Women across diversity have important insights to bring to good decision making. With women being only four of the 24 City Councillors on Ottawa City Council, it is challenging for women’s perspectives to be heard.

In the October 2018 election, let’s change this.

In this event:

o Consider why it is important to have a diversity of women representing us on City Council.

o Know what you are looking for in a candidate.

o Consider ways you can support her.

On Friday, April 27th from 9am to 1pm join us at 30 Rosemount Avenue, for an important community conversation organized by Healthy Transporation Coalition in partnership with City for All Women Initiative and the Somerset West Community Health Centre. Facilitation will be done by Alejandra Bravo, Director, Power Lab. Lunch is included.
