"In the face of a global surge in xenophobic violence, cities across Canada and around the world are declaring themselves sanctuaries, promising to protect the rights of migrants and guarantee access for all, access without fear. The event will start with a few panelists making presentations and will end with group discussions to discuss how to make Ottawa a Sanctuary City."

Oc Transpo is introducing a new affordable monthly pass for people who are below the low income threshold. The pass will be availible on your Presto card, which can be purchased for 6 dollars. The cost will be half of the adult pass; $57.00 per month starting April 1st.
