This year we're pleased (this year we’re pleased)
there are fewer budget cuts (there are fewer budget cuts)
but the one's we see do worry us:
don’t stop funding Crime Prevention Ottawa
it would be criminal and unjust

then there's transit  (then there’s transit)
the raising of fees (the raising of fees)
the cutting of routes by wrong priorities
we want buses accessible to all people
not just route efficiency

Ne coupez pas   (ne coupez pas)
Les circuits d’autobus (les circuits d’autobus)
Pensez aux femmes avec enfants
Qui n’ont que ce moyen de transport
Elles vous seront reconnaissantes

Please re-invest   (Please re-invest)
the ODSP uploads (the ODSP uploads)
into social services, childcare, and safer homes
Quality of life in every neighborhood!
people matter as much as sewers and roads

And if you really want (And if you really want)
people living better lives (people living better lives)
recreation fees must stop their climb
So we can all be active engaged citizens
and so Ottawa can thrive.

You took the time (you took the time)
To hear our views (to hear our views)

We are the women across this city
Voting in our communities
